Who sells subscriptions
Online purchases of Splash paid plans, including recurring upgrades or add-ons, are sold by Paddle as authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle operates checkout, calculates applicable taxes, issues receipts, handles payment disputes and processes eligible refunds. The applicable Paddle Buyer Terms and Paddle Refund Policy govern those sales and prevail if this page conflicts with them. Your mandatory consumer rights always remain in force.
Subscriptions, renewals and trials
Monthly and annual subscriptions renew for the billing interval shown at checkout until cancelled. A free trial, if included in your selected offer, converts to a paid subscription after the disclosed trial period unless you cancel before the charge. Paddle displays the final localized price, currency, taxes, trial period and renewal terms before the purchase is completed. Optional branding add-ons are separate charges when selected, as shown in checkout.
How to cancel
Use Manage subscription in the transaction or subscription email sent by Paddle, or visit paddle.net to manage or request cancellation. You may cancel at any time before the next renewal. Cancellation ordinarily takes effect at the end of the paid billing period and prevents future renewal charges; it does not by itself refund the current period. Where an immediate cancellation or refund is legally required or approved, applicable Paddle processes govern.
Uninstalling Splash, leaving a Discord server, deleting a local website sample, or filing a Splash data-deletion request does not cancel a Paddle subscription. Cancel separately using Paddle to avoid future charges.
Refund eligibility
Unless applicable law, Paddle’s buyer terms or a separate express offer requires otherwise, completed transactions are generally non-refundable. We do not promise a discretionary, no-questions-asked money-back guarantee. However, customers may be entitled to refunds for a duplicate or incorrect charge, eligible withdrawal, non-delivery or legally actionable service non-conformity. We may review reported technical faults with Paddle, but we do not override statutory or Paddle rights.
A security incident, false positive, Discord outage or a planned feature not yet released does not automatically establish refund eligibility; the actual purchased promises and applicable law control. Conversely, an “as-is” statement does not remove legally enforceable remedies.
EU/UK and other statutory withdrawal rights
Eligible EU consumers generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for qualifying distance purchases, including an initial qualifying subscription purchase. Paddle’s policy describes the eligibility and procedure. Whether the right has been lost for digital content, or how starting a service during the withdrawal period affects it, depends on the applicable legal conditions and any required prior express consent, acknowledgement and confirmation. Merely accessing Splash does not automatically waive your rights.
UK customers and consumers elsewhere may have different or additional statutory rights, including certain rights on annual renewals. We will not interpret this policy as restricting a longer or otherwise non-waivable right under applicable law. For details see Paddle’s current policy.
How to request a refund or withdrawal
Open your Paddle transaction receipt or visit Paddle Buyer Support, then select the relevant refund, withdrawal or transaction-help option. Eligible EU withdrawal transactions may have a withdrawal option in the Paddle Customer Portal. You may also contact support@splashstudio.net for product context; Paddle remains the transaction handler. Provide the order number, purchase email and a short description when possible, but never share passwords, card security codes or full payment-card numbers.
Processing and billing corrections
Paddle decides and processes refund requests under its terms and mandatory law, usually back to the original payment method where possible. For eligible EU statutory withdrawals, Paddle states it refunds within 14 days after receiving the request; other approved refunds follow its policy and payment-network timelines. Ask Paddle about mistaken tax charges, duplicate transactions or billing issues directly. Cancelling a renewal will not retroactively cancel invoices lawfully due unless a refund or correction applies.
Policy changes and precedence
We may update this policy to reflect changes in law, the purchase experience or Paddle’s published terms. The current version is linked from our website. Changes cannot retrospectively remove existing statutory withdrawal, conformity or refund rights. If this policy differs from Paddle’s applicable purchase agreement, Paddle’s terms and mandatory law control that transaction.
